The Rim & Back

Well, yesterday I drove to the Mogollan rim for a sunset shot. After a long hike through a foot and a half of snow, I got to the edge of the rim and looked out to the distant mountains. I arrived just in time for the sunset. It was beautiful, the walk back was not. After getting back to the car, I decided to drive back into the desert below to sleep and shoot a sunrise shot. I drove to Roosevelt lake and spent the night there. In the morning I woke to an interesting scene. There were a few trees half submerged in the water. It made for some cool sunrise shots.
